Shri Narendra Modi releases commemorative postage stamps on “3rd India - Africa Forum Summit”

The innovative miniature sheet with Hot Foil stamping and embossing was never introduced in India before, until now. Considered as India’s biggest political and bilateral outreach program involving delegates and heads of states/ governments from a large number of prominent African nations, this event was commemorated in a special way indeed.On 29th October, 2015 - the closing day of the 3rd India Africa Forum Summit, a set of six Commemorative Postage Stamps was released by Shri Narendra Modi in presence of other dignitaries in New Delhi.
Out of the different varieties, the ones with Indian Rhino, African Rhino and Black Buck are Hot foil stamped with Gun metal foil. The ones with two Lions are embossed using Gold foil and the one with Thomson Gazelle with Copper foil.
